99.6% Alumina Substrate

Our proprietary 99.6% formulation produces a fine-grain substrate with excellent surface finish and dielectric characteristics. Our substrate is ideal for thin-film applications with ultra fine-line resolution and spacing. Our current capability is producing substrates as large as 15"x 15". At the moment we are currently expanding our production capacity to make 36"x 36" substrates which we expect to be completed by the end of 2005.

CTAL-996

Currently, we deliver as-fired substrates as well as lapped and polished to a mirror-finish. We are capable of lapping CTAL-996 as large as 36"x 36" and parts as thin as 0.0005" (12.5 micro meters.) We polish our CTAL-996 substrates as smooth as 20 Angstroms-Ra as well.
